Three years have passed since the launch of SKYN – the best-selling non-latex condom in the world. To boost the brand’s recognition even further, USN has digitized SKYNBUN – a free physical newspaper that talks about love and sex.
The new edition – titled “TIME EDITION” – focuses on the lovers in Japan who struggle to find time for each other. Through a variety of features, we introduced better ways to enjoy time together as lovers. SKYNBUN evolved significantly due to digitalization; it allowed us to create a wider range of content, utilizing moving images and sound. Furthermore, by using the newspaper’s affinity with social media, we partnered with media outlets to produce articles featuring popular bloggers and well-known talents who have a great knowledge of sex and gender. This new attempt resulted in the increase of SKYN’s brand awareness and successfully promoted the box of trial condoms online.
