In order to reach the booming live band scene in Japan, USN concepted and executed a band platform called Red Bull Live on the Road. Red Bull Live on the Road is a platform to discover up and coming live band talent and help them become exposed to Japan and the world.
The project pitted bands against each other in a buzz chart competition, several live event qualifiers and a scene changing final event featuring three finalist bands and headliners, The winning band was rewarded by getting to record at one of Red Bull’s international recording studios. The 2013 edition included the addition of a special Summer Sonic stage as part of the competition. The 2014 included a truck tour stage as well as the Summer Sonic stage.
